We dropped off a car for service and had some time to kill and my Yelp! search led us to The Breakfast Club. We were greeted warmly and were immediately taken in by the vibe. Business was booming, and the staff wore smiles as they attended to the customers. We both ordered the "Ken's" omelets, a delicious blend of Ortega chilis, tomatoes, avocado, cheese, and sour cream. It was spectacular. Hashbrowns were great and not at all greasy. My well-done side of bacon was on-point, as was the side pancake. Even the coffee was good. We're definitely coming back!

This place was amazing! I grew up on diner food, so when I get some good diner food I know it! The service was amazing, that food came out so fast. Their turnaround much be ridiculous with how fast everything went. The decor was simple but it didn't need anything, the food was so good there's no need for a gimmick and I did love that it was called the breakfast club, it was the main reason it caught my attention. If you're in the area this is a highly suggested spot to check out.

The place was closing in 40 mins and the welcome is with smiles. Service was good and the food was good. Huge portions.

Food was great! Service was lacking so I knocked off a star. We found a seat quickly, although they were pretty busy, with our drinks brought by one the guys who cleaned off our table. It took a bit for our server to come take our orders, where I was surprised he showed up in a hoodie, had a very relaxed approach. Not that this is a fancy place but that threw me off a bit. The food came out quickly where I ordered the Veggie egg benedict and my guy had the Chili verde omelet, with substituted Cinnamon roll pancake instead of fries. The food came out very quickly and the girl dropping off the food brought us salsa we requested. Both our meals were really good, cooked well, especially the Chili verde omelet! The cinnamon roll pancake was very sweet but delcious. Our server never came back to check on us, although we saw him walk by multiple times and unfortunately seems to be common with service these days. I was able to get the attention of another worker who brought me a box and asked him if he could find our server for our check where he showed up soon after. We would definitely be back because the food was so good and I highly recommend the Chili verde omelet, as has a lot of flavor and a decent portion of meat. As far as service I wouldn't have high expectations as this place has a "turn and burn" feel to it.

This is definitely the best place to eat. Fast and friendly service! I recommend this restaurant to anyone that goes to Monterey Their food is delicious!

This place is a gem! Food is delicious and priced right. Hardest part about The Breakfast Club is getting a table, especially in the weekend. I ordered a chile verde omelet... Holy smokes! It was delicious. The flavor was amazing and it came with potatoes and toast. Despite how busy the place was the service was still attentive. Will definitely be going back again... and again!!!

Today at about 1 PM I was in the Monterey Seaside area and had an occasion to stop by and try the breakfast club. we went in and chose a table and our server. Tia was very nice and got my wife started with some bacon and eggs with toast and hashbrowns and a large orange juice as well as a side biscuit. I started with bowl, no sugar no milk with blueberries, strawberries and raisins. It was nice and thick and I really enjoyed it. I even took about half of it to go. In addition I had the turkey avocado eggs Benedict with the side of home fries with vegetables. And finally, I got a waffle. Well, done to split with my wife. Everything was delicious the eggs, Benedict, the waffle the oatmeal, the bacon and eggs and the biscuit. I would recommend the breakfast club and quiet in there spread out open and the service is excellent. You could tell it had a local vibe and tourist vibe so some of the people were regulars .
